The documentary film deals with lesbian (in)visibility in Vienna during the fifties and sixties. During the frequent police raids lesbians and gay men had to be seated nicely at tables-“normal” and “inconspicuous.” Lesbian life took place behind closed doors. Unlike other countries, there is few imagery documenting the history in Austria, even in the seventies.
