“Kawsda” (means women’s nest or space) is an aboriginal womens’ non-profit organization in Namasia in Southern Taiwan. The workers in Kawsda are all grassroots women from the local village, who have tried their best to continue the culture class for the children after Typhoon Morakot. However, the female workers of NPO in a traditional tribe society confronted the challenges of learning organization work, gendered expectations and financial pressure.
