Jau - Jiun Hsiao, chair of Taiwan Gender Equity Education Association, challenged the 100-year tradition of her big Hsiao family. With great efforts, she became the first woman to preside over the ancestor worship ceremony, thus rewrite the tradition which only gives males the privilege to worship and to receive the blessings.
