“Minganangana” (crab festival) is a ritual during the Tao’s busy flying fish season. The word also signifies “to cheer.” On that day, the Tao women cheer their husbands who catch fish up by sumptuous meals of taro cakes and terrestrial crabs for them. This documentary preserves the beautiful custom of the Tao tribe.
