Through a simulation of pregnancy, we come to learn about
the hard work of mothers raising children. Having the plan to
"raise a child" is a privilege that is not shared by everyone, even
though starting a family seems to be a fundamental right as a
citizen. As a lesbian couple in Taiwan, even if we are willing to
give birth to and raise a child together, we are thwarted by the
lack of protection for the rights and interests of LGBT couples.

At her 20, Lin-Siang LIN (aka Dudu) was an amusing car dancer,
and her husband left her for her occupation, and took her child
away. What's even worse, her father passed away, and suddenly
she became the only financial resource in her family. For that,
she even suffered from melancholia, but all the frustrations
didn't beat her down, instead, she became a "Queen."

In the historically most famous ancestral house of the
matrilineal Amis tribe in Taiwan, the carved pillars tell legends.
After a typhoon toppled the house in 1958, the pillars were
moved to a museum. Recently young villagers, with assistance
from female shamans, pushed the descendants to communicate
with ancestors in the pillars. They eventually brought the
ancestral souls back and began reconstructing the house.

A hotel is going to be built in a small town. The property and
the tourism are about to boom, so the whole town falls into a
frenzy. Kam is the only one that seems calm. He is a pig farmer
whose purposes in life are having numerous piglets and getting
his mother to accept his girlfriend, who is now too old to bear a
grandson that his mother has long expected.

Hung-Tsun went out to find his child, Mei, and they got along
with each other in a strange atmosphere. After Mei brought
Hung-Tsun home, the memory started to flash back. By
depicting the uncertainty of Mei's gender identity, the film
implies the national identity complex which has appeared on

She traveled on the sea towards her goal, while a hurricane
made her ground on an island. Hiding in a suitcase where she
found comfort and security, yet she realized that hiding herself
would not be secure forever. Eventually, she left the secure
zone, and made the wooden suitcase and cords a raft, and sailed
in tides towards freedom.
